Destination : Hue - A Luoi - Ho Chi Minh Trail - My Son - Hoi An
Leave all daily necessaries behind for a memorable moment in your life to ethnic villages and other historic spots such as " Hamburger Hill ", historical Ho Chi Minh Trail and so on. Although the time you spend for the exploration is very little, what you will receive from it is extremely immense and useful. Joining this adventure, not only will you heighten your mountain climbing skill, but also acquire mountainous culture as well as historical knowledge. An experience for studying of Green Corridor in Central Vietnam.
Itinerary detail:
Day 1: Welcome to Hue City - Full day city tour (LD)
Am: You are welcomed at Phu Bai airport by our guide and driver with welcome sign in hand in the morning flight. You are transferred downtown to hotel in city centre, check in hotel. Take a short break. This morning you will make a boat trip on special boat of Hue people called Dragon boat - the famous boat of local people for visiting the ancientest pagoda of Viet Nam is Thien Mu where is famous for its legend. Along the river you can see the wonderful view with green trees in two sides banks and pure blue water which nowhere has. Next you start to make a city trip around Hue for visiting the Citadel with the Forbidden Purple City where Nguyen Kings reign. You can have chance to learn about the history as well as architecture of Nguyen's Reign Palace include Flag Tower, Noon Gate & Phoenix Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Urn Dynastys... Have lunch at a restaurant afterward to enjoy Hue traditional foods.
Pm: After lunch guide and driver will take you to outside city centre to visit the unique in the architecture of Nguyen Kings’ Mausoleum of Tu Duc King. These two Kings has a complex of mausoleum which are near to nature and relaxation. After that you will visit handicraft villlages including insence-making village, Phu Cam hat-making village - the symbol of Hue people and Vietnam in Aodai the traditional dress of Vietnamese woman and Phuong Duc bronze casting village. Back city centre to have dinner at a restaurant. At 8.00 pm guide will lead you to boat landing for enjoying Hue folk song – a traditional music performance on Perfume river. At this time you can combine to enjoy traditional music and see Hue sightseeing at night from dragon boat. Overnight in hotel in Hue.
Day 2: Hue to A Luoi. Home stay at stilt house - Ta Oi people (BLD)
Am: After breakfast at hotel, guide and driver transfer you to visit Minh Mang tomb - the famous king of Nguyen Reign. Visiting his mausoleum you will learn more about the second King of Nguyen Dynasty - the famous one in history and you can have a chance to know his style through his final palace. Next go ahead to A Luoi mountainous District away from Hue 70 km. On arrival A Luoi, you check in stilt house for relaxing before trekking to Hamburger Hill – with another nickname 937 hill. On the summit of the hill you can have the panorama of the airport and the combat base. Have a picnic lunch on the hill.
Pm: Then trek down the village. Today you spend about 5 hours for trekking up and down the hill. At night you will enjoy traditional foods of minority village for your dinner and take part in some activities of ethnic people like enjoying traditional music. A good memory after leaving this ethinic village is enthusiatic people who you talking and communicating together. And that you have an opportunity to know more minority people in Central Vietnam as well as their special cultures. Overnight at stilt house in A Hua village.
Day 3: A Luoi – A roang – Prao – Giang Town (BLD)
Am: Wake up early morning to enjoy the fresh air in the mountainous area. You spend your time to walk around and visit at a local market to enjoy purchasing activities of minority people. Then back stilt house to have breakfast. Guide and driver will take you to a local school for you to visit and get more experience about the conditions of Ethnic children go to school in the highland of Vietnam. It will be a good experience for you to learn about the cultures and lifestyle of local people here. Next the driver will transfer you to A–Roang village on Ho Chi Minh trail ( 25km ) where you can visit the hamlet of Ta-Oi People as well as their stilt house. Having more experiences with minority people with handicarft villages like weaving, textiling. Spending time to relax at Aroang Hot Spring help you to feel refreshing. Moreover, along the way
on Ho Chi Minh Trail you have chance to see a lot of beautiful views of mountainous and forests. It takes you on van more 80 km along Ho Chi Minh Trail to arrive Prao village. On the way, stopover to visit Ta-Lang hamlet of Katu people and DRO-ROONG ethnic people, and this is a good chance for you to see traditional manual brocade and to have lunch in local restaurants.
Pm: The driver go on transferring you to Giang Town on Ho Chi Minh Trail. On arrival, check-in hotel, and have dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Giang Mountainous Town.
Day 4: Giang – My Son – Hoi An ancient town (B, L)
Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning the driver takes you to Ta Bin village to enjoy the traditional manual brocade. Visiting Dai Hong town, you can see the panorama of countryside in the mountainous of Viet Nam Central as well as meet and see daily activities of local people. You continue being transferred to Duy Xuyen town before visiting My Son holly land where was the Kingdom of Cham people to enjoy the architecture of Cham people built in red bricks in 11th century. It is recognized as a Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Here, you also have chance to enjoy traditional music performance of Cham people to learn more about their culture. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Pm: Afterward the driver will ride you to Hoi An Ancient town. Check in hotel. Free at night for exploring the beauty of Hoi An town with colorful of shops and latterns along old street. A marvelous sight if you arrive Hoi An ancient town on Lunar fullmoon. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight in hotel in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An walking tour (BLD)
Am: After breakfast at hotel, you will be led to visit the charming of Hoi An ancient Town on foot including ancient houses like Tan Ky, Phuc Kien…temples pagoda and enjoy the unique architecture of Japanese Bridge, then you will have chance to enjoy a traditional music performance in an ancient house. Hoi An is known as a shopping centre. Walking along old streets you can also make tailor of clothes with reasonable price and have beautiful souvernir gifts. Have lunch at a restaurant in the town.
Pm: This afternoon, you make a boat trip on Thu Bon river to visit Thanh Ha ceramic village and Kim Bong carpentry village. At Thanh Ha Ceramic village you will have a chance to experience to make ceramic product by yourself by
household and receive a small souvernir gift from them. Back to Hoi An on boat and maybe have some beautiful photoes of fishing net on the river. At 5.45 pm you will join a cooking class under instructing of Vietnamese teacher to cook Vietnamese dishes and taste dinner by dishes you cooked. Once more impression of Hoi An is learn how to cook Vietnamese food especially local food after joining cooking class. After come back your home you can make this food yourself for your family. Overnight in hotel in Hoi An.
Day 6: Free time and transfer to Da Nang airport for departure (B)
Have breakfast at hotel, then you are free to go shopping at silk shops in Hoi An and have more exploration of this town or relax at hotel. On summer time, Cua Dai beach is a nice place for you to spend your free time and relax on nice sandy beach and enjoy fresh air. Afterward the driver will transfer you to Da Nang airport for taking flight to next destination. End of tour here and Good bye.
