Saigon stop over 8 days 7 nights (Phu Quoc Option I)

 Saigon City tour - Cu Chi - Mekong Delta - Phu Quoc- Saigon 8 days 7 nights

Day 1: Arrive Saigon

You will be greeted at the Tan Son Nhat airport and transferred downtown to check into your hotel. Free time to explore a little of downtown. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Cu Chi half day - Sai Gon city tour half day (B)

AM: Start a halfday tour to visit Cu Chi tunnels. On the way, you enjoy the spectacular view of the paddy fields. Walk around the tunnels area to see the bomb craters, underground bunkers, deadly traps, go inside a secret tunnels to see how guerillas had lived, fought and survived during the war. Head back to Saigon, arrive Saigon at 14:00.

PM: Start a half day city tour at 14:00 to visit Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Giac Lam pagoda, Thien Hau temple and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in the same hotel.

Day 3: Sai Gon - Vinh Long - Can Tho (B)

We depart for a great trip on Mekong River. After a 3-hr-drive we will take a boat trip along the river  and its narrow waterways, overhung with dense vegetation. We will try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. Lunch with local delicacies will be served in a bonsai garden. We continue with drive to Cantho, check in hotel and overnight in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho floating market - Chau Doc (B)

Another discovery in the Mekong Delta: the floating markets. We will wake up early to visit the floating market of Cai Rang, one of the most colorful floating markets in Southeast Asia where a great variety of fruits and vegetables found in the region are sold. From Can Tho, we travel the colorful road to the bustling river town of Chau Doc. Take a short sightseeing to the Sam Mountain for impressive views over Cambodia and the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 5: OPT 1: Chau Doc - Sai Gon (B)

     AM: Breakfast. Then you will start the rowing-boat trip to the floating village ( also called "Fish farm"), we may get on a floating fish-cage to see and feed the fish. Then, you are going on the ethnic Cham village where you can see how Cham people weave Sarongs and towels and explore the locals cultures and customs. Then visiting the Moslim Mosque in the centre of the tribe.

PM: Head back to Saigon, with a stop at a small beautiful garden in My Tho for enjoying the atmosphere of Mekong delta for the last time after a wonderful trip. Arrive in SaiGon at 18:00. Check in and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Sai Gon - Phu Quoc (B)

AM: Airport drop off in Sai Gon for your flight to Phu Quoc. Arrive Phu Quoc, check in hotel and free at your leisure time for swimming on Phu Quoc pristine beach. O/N in hotel.

Day 7: Phu Quoc Island (B)

Whole day free to visit Phu Quocwhich is called the island of "99 mountains" because of its many  sandstone chains gradually descending from the north to the south. Phu Quoc Island is a large island in Vietnam where tourists enjoy spending time throughout the year, stay on the beach and enjoy the clear blue waters and relaxed ambiance of this nice island. O/N in the same hotel.

Day 8: Phu Quoc - Sai Gon (B)

 Free time in Phu Quoc until airport drop off for your flight to SaiGon.Arrival in Saigon airport, wait until your connecting flight out. Tour ends.
